Adult Swim Lessons

This class is to assist adults in refining their strokes or becoming more comfortable in the water.
This class is offered only when we have enough participants interested in taking the class.

Water Aerobics

A variety of water exercise and aqautic fitness classes ar offered at Centralia Recration Complex. These classes are ongoing and fo not require pre-registration. These programs are free to passholders and non-passholders by paying an entrance fee into the complex.

Monday – Friday: Tape: 7:15 am
Monday – Wednesday – Friday: Tape 9:30 am
Tuesday & Thursday: Tape 8:45 am

Aqua Arthritis

Centralia Recreation Complex is proud to offer this program. Program participants are led by trained personnel through a series of specially designed exercises. It is not necessary to know how to swim or even get your hair wet to attend this class. These programs are free to passholders and non-passholders by paying an entrance fee into the complex.

Tuesday & Thursday: 11:00 am – Noon

Aqua Zumba

Low impact, high energy water exercise. Aqua Zumba blends the Zumba philosophy with water exercise, for one pool party you shouldn’t miss!
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:30 am – 10:30 am
Saturday: 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Cost: $60.00 for Non Passholders
$30.00 for Passholders
$7.50 per class

CRCY Barracudas Swim Team

The CRCY Barracudas Swim Team is based at Centralia Recreation Complex. Groups include: Bronze, Silver, Gold & Jr/Sr.
Practices are held at the complex along with 2 meets per year.

Lifeguard Classes

We offer Red Cross lifeguard classes, lifeguard reviews and basic water rescue classes. 

Contact the Aquatic Supervisor for scheduling and dates.

Lifeguard Class​

The Centralia Recreation Complex will be offering an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class. To be eligible for the Lifeguard Training Course, the candidate must be 15 years of age on or before the class begins. If in the future, you plan on working at a waterpark you will need the waterpark module. For example, if you plan to work for the city of Salem or the Centralia Recreation Complex, you will need the waterpark module.
